College Life. Parish Life. Catholic Life.
Once upon a time in a dorm room far far away, I was energetically trying to explain Catholic teaching on a sticky subject to a skeptical friend. I had a chemistry test to study for and it was long past midnight, but I was enthused and on fire and wouldn't be stopped. It was then that the Holy Spirit tapped me on the shoulder and whispered, "Psst! Maybe you should be spending more time in ministry and less time in the lab..."
Taking the hint, I earned a B.A. in Philosophy from the Catholic University of America and an M.A. in Theology and Religious Studies from Villanova University. During my time in "Nova Nation" I also earned a Graduate Certificate in Pastoral Ministry, and quickly put it to good use in my work as the Director of the Catholic Young Adults of Chester County (1.5 years), the Director of Religious Education for Mother of Divine Providence Parish in King of Prussia (5 years), and as an Adjunct Theology Professor for Villanova University (Fall 2017). I am excited to bring all of these experiences into my latest adventure: serving as a middle school theology teacher for a private academy near Philadelphia (Fall 2018+).
I'm passionate about Vatican II's teachings on the world-changing vocation of the laity, JP2's writings on the role of women in the Church, and every Facebook post Sherry Weddell has ever authored.
I'd be honored to work with you to build up the Body of Christ in your local parish, Newman Center, or Theology on Tap!
I'm available for speaking engagements (in Philly, NJ, and DE) and writing collaborations (anywhere there's wifi)...
drop me a line to start the conversation!
